Why harm young people? What’s the point of this thoughtless cruelty?

Closing Job Corp facilities is just one more way to help with the further destruction of the youth in this country. Everyone was not born with a silver spoon in their mouth and these are the true backbone of American. I given the chance they can become productive citizens of their communities and states. How can one pull the rug from under these children?

I am a student from Wolf Creek Job Corps and all of these centers should remain open. Wolf Creek has provided stability and opportunities for our wild land firefighters that we wouldn't have without the program. Please reconsider closing these centers, not only are students are effected but staff as well. Some are losing their jobs or having to retire early. Youth need these job corps to stay open, this change is not a good change.

Please reverse the decision to close Anaconda Job Corps as it’s vital to rural MT and it’s host community.

This program has proved valuable in so many ways for so many students. Please reconsider! Youth on welfare instead of in the workforce will be a much greater expense to us taxpayers.

Bad for the kids who learn a skill, bad for the community which looses 75 jobs, bad for the state which looses trained skilled workers. What is good about this decision?

What an invaluable resource for Montana children. It would be a great loss to the state to have this program cancelled.

Anaconda Job Corps saved my life. II'm eternally grateful to the staff that worked there and the program itself has had many sucess stories. Right now troubled youth need programs like these more than ever. Not only is this taking jobs already made but raking away job opportunities and a way for people to enter the workforce.

Job Corp has been the best decision of my life! It’s a second chance for people to come in and make a change for the better. I attended Trapper Creek and from there took the welding course now I’m doing aerospace welding in Washington! Wouldn’t change my experience for the world!

The center is helpful why would they want to get rid of it?

This is a great program for young people. More kids need trades than a college degree that doesn’t guarantee a degree but guarantees student loan debt for the rest of their lives. I’ve heard Trump say that people need to go to trade schools and they do the trade industry is hurting for people . This closure just doesn’t make any sense
