He was my bus driver through the entire time I was in school. He was my older sisters through her time in school. He is currently my little brothers as well, who was on the bus during the accident. He is a great person and never did anything to put us in harms way. What happened was not on purpose and could happen to anybody. He loves the kids he drives and does everything he can to keep them safe.

The news makes it out as though he was going above the speed limit, however they say he should have adjusted his speed with the conditions. So if the speed limit was 55, how slow should he have been going? This was an accident and the blessing was that noone lost their lives. Ray is a great person who would have given his life to protect those children.

Great guy was my bus driver. It's a bad spot in the road for the sun being in the eyes. This is crazy. Do all you parents wanna start driving your kids to school everyday? Your causing a big commotion like this over a ACCIDENT!? How bout schools just quit bus duty since it's becoming to big of a liability... and you figure out how to get kids to school

Don't charge this driver. Yes they may have been driving to fast but probably been on the same route for years. Can't tell me you've never messed up after getting to comfortable doing the same thing for years I could understand if there was fatalities but there wasn't. Take his cdl but don't put him in prison that's not how the law should work.

Ray is a wonderful person and this was just an accident that could have happened to anyone that travels that strecth of highway. He does not deserve to be charged with any violation. Good Luck Ray the kids miss you!

Ray does not deserved to be charged with anything. i rode his bus for years he was an execellent bus driver & that is a very bad spot espically for early in the morning with the sun. Ray has such a kind heart & accidents happen. He would never put the kids on the bus life at risk. I remember when i was a kid & it would snow & ray knowing he had to get the kids home, he’d either get the bus stuck trying & we were sittin until that kid got home without walking.
