It was an accident. Yes, you slow down when visibility is low, but how long had been visibility been low? Did he have a chance to slow down? Did the sun just pop up over the hill in front of him? He he come around a curve that let the sun blind him? Witnesses, students on the bus and even the other cars on the road all say it was an accident.

I seen pictures of people behind the bus that day and seen how bright that sun was ...I do not believe the school bus driver is at fault plus he was not going over the speed limit

the man was so take the one thing that he loves his job and his licence to drive a bus more concerned with the safety of the children then his own he may be in fault but I feel it was a pure accident

Sweet man. Sweet family. I'm sure he's been through enough in his own mind and feelings thinking about that day. Accidents happen, that doesn't mean anyone is to blame. Prayers for him and his family and friends.

Accidents happen and just be thankful none of the children weren't hurt more than they were.

I met Ray in 1998 when I started driving a bus. He cares for his kids on the bus as each of us drivers do and I personally believe he would NEVER put his kids in any kind of danger.

This is seriously a joke they are even considering charging this poor man. He has dedicated so many years of his life to taking care of children and SAFELY transported them for 2-3 generations of families kids to and from school and ONE accident happens involving him and they are going to CHARGE him??? This is just unacceptable!

Accidents happen. He's a good man and he loves the children. He would never intentionally put any of them in harm's way.
