According to the approved ENCI document of 19th December, the standard for cane corso was changed so that it will include "the integrity" of the ears. The other changes are not even disclosed.
We all know what this means for breeders and for the breed!

I have been reading through the messages you are all sending and it is clear that we are not the only ones worried about these ears because the fear for the breed is actually huge. I am trying to track down more info on those other hidden changes but it is honestly like pulling teeth when you try to get a straight answer from these people.

ear cropping and tail docking are pivotal in the look of the breed. I wouldn't have had such an intense immediate interest in the breed without the LOOK that accompanied them.

the changes proposed to the Cane Corso standard are not keeping with the traditional appearance of the Cane Corso which are an integral aspect of defining the uniqueness of the breed. The breed will be decimated by these proposed changes
