Hoover Retirement Residence requests a use variance to allow sale of alcohol for on-premise consumption. The zoning regulations require 1000 feet from Church and school property. The Birmingham 1st Church is located only 170 feet from the Retirement Residence property. Please sign this petition to protest against the sale of alcohol so close to our church and school.

170 feet is way too close. Why would anyone think this is a good idea right next to the school? keep our neighborhood safe for the kids.
