The recent psu recruitment's require us to submit a character certificate from a gazetted officer {something which has been carried forward from ages}. Today with population explosion, a gazetted officer knowing all the "fortunate applicants" is something absurd and highly remote.

With the honorable Modi government even having emphasizing on "self-attestation", we request you to kindly do away with this, as we all applicant's sufficient a long list of documents for verification and as well we will be serving with your organizations. Such tedious processes hamper the candidate's last minute preparation and even pose great amount of mental agony,if they are unable to gain such documents.

Hence, it is my and all the undersigned candidate's humble request to kindly do away with such age old norms.
