This petition was created by a dedicated supporter to inform the administration at Davis & Elkins College that the present leadership of the men's soccer team is unacceptable. The current coach has alienated current players, alumni, colleagues, other coaches in the soccer community and members of the D&E family by his inability to communicate effectively.  

As the face of the program for less than two years, he has tarnished the reputation of a program that has been arguably the most consistent and successful amongst all the teams at D&E. All this despite the results and/or achievements gained on the field. While winning is important, it is certainly not the focus here. 

This is not a personal attack. It is an effort to keep the best interests of the program at the forefront. This program is bigger than its coach. D&E is not a place where winning or losing has impacted the job security of its coaches. Now more than ever, its coaches are retained or released for their ability to build and maintain relationships with their players, alumni, and those who support their program from near or afar. In order to thrive again, on the field and off, a change is needed.
