The faculty and staff of DLIFLC deserve this. If other federal employees in the same area got the full locality pay they were due since 2001, why not the faculty of DLI? This must be corrected.

I agree that this long wrong doing must be corrected, it is long overdue.

It was strange to see Locality Pay paid to the Federal Employees of the Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) - our neighbors - and not paid to Federal Employees of DLI. Where was the logic?

I retired from DLI in 2009 after 20 years of service. I fully support reimbursement of the Locality Pay which was legally owed to the DLI employees.

It is just right and fair! For years, DLIFLC faculty has been struggling to make ends meet. Federal jobs still typically pay less than the private sector but it would be much worse without these locality adjustments. It is about time to correct this oversight.

I retired in 2017 after having worked for federal government (Defense Language Institute) for over 26 years. I feel I am eligible for the requested pay back!

I am demanding my rights.
I support this initiative.
We only ask for fairness.
We deserve it.
We owe this to our dedicated faculty.
