Some of us mix to promote the artists, If the artists wish to be this greedy, maybe can unite to stop playing any one else's music period. We pay to play your music publicly. An online audience is exactly that..."an audience".

If you are a professional Dj, you are typically in record pool or pay into the use of the songs. I have sent my paper work 3 times and still get my videos taken down.

As DJs are not receiving any income from FB mixes I definitely think we should be allowed to showcase our talents while at the same time supporting artists.

Creating music is one thing, but making it available to people is another thing entirely, the internet for better or worse has changed the music industry. In a community based on sharing ideas, chopping, and remixing. it is vital for independent artists to have intermediaries who are not creators of sounds, but who collect the vibes and spread them out for open ears across the world.
