I don't understand why Facebook is punishing djs for playing music when it purely helps the artists more than anything!! It's no different than playing in a nightclub or any venue!! There is no meonetary gain!! But yet allow people to go live and threaten violence angainst certain people or smoke blunts during a live broadcast!! Makes no sense

I'm a DJ and although I don't do Facebook live, I enjoy listening to my DJ friends when they do mixes on Facebook. It's entertaining and it's not taking away from artist. In fact, it promotes artists.

All we're doing is showcasing DJing skills, how to do's and don'ts. And also promoting music of artist. i can share a video from YOUTUBE but not my own mashup of an artist song? I'm not even sell the music. That's preposterous....

It's disgraceful that people can post vids of fights, shootings and pretty much anything negative... but we can't put up a video of playing music mixes even if we're sjust showing our skill as DJS and/or Soundmen/women........ what copyright issue, we're not selling the music...and the artist don't get the fact that the vids can bring people in who mite like their music....
