The arts are as important as every other class. So I think you should consider it and think about the life of the students that had never performed or watched a performance.

I saw the very first district wide musical production of Les Mesirables and the kids were not only amazing but just simply awesome!! Please don't let all those budding talents go undiscovered. They deserve the chance to be heard, and seen, and tecognized. Most certainly, art in combination with academics is a sure fire formula for a successful and well rounded young man and woman who could be our son or daughter. So please don't stop funding these musical productions. Our kids deserve your wholehearted support.

Encouraging the performing arts and artistic expression through dancing, acting, and singing is a pivotal factor for the enrichment of the students in our district. Please do not take away this creative outlet for the talented students of the Jersey City Public School District.

I love the district musical and was really distraught when I heard they weren't performing it this year. It was always so cool to see my friends and other people my age create a performance with such skill.
