The board needs to take responsibility. Just as Penn State did ... Sandusky case. Joe Paterno took the hit for ignoring! Those poor young boys! Now it’s time to clean house for the Weinstein Producation Co. for knowing and allowing it to happen to these poor young actresses.

As a man who has had the great fortune of living a very privileged life, I don’t profess to know all of the struggles and hardships women face on a day-to-day basis. The issues concerning sexism and male privilege are things I continue to learn about every day. But I do know right from wrong. Any corporation, group of people, or industry that turns a blind eye toward bullying, harassment, or institutionalized rape/sexual exploitation needs to be held accountable. It is with great pride I stand beside Ms. McGowan to add my name to this petition to shut down The Weinstein Company.

Sexual assault is inexcusable. Covering it up, unforgivable.

The fact that everyone who worked in the Weinstein Co and served on the board, knew that Harvey is a pig and has been sexually harrassing women, even raping some and did NOTHING to STOP him, says it all. They are as guilty as Harvey and may even have participated in this horrific behavior. They need to ALL RE-SIGN! Shut this cesspool company down now!! I

It is a crime against humanity to treat women this way. Period. Any company, stakeholder, shareholder, or employee who was aware of the misconduct or worse helped facilitate Weinstein actions should face charges of conspiracy and assault as accomplices. Absolutely disgusted, horrified, and sorrowful for the physical and mental torment these women had to face in the face of such an unforgiving industry.

I consider a film enthusiast, an appreciate the work that Miramax and the Weinstein company has produced and championed, but incredible work isn't dependent on toxic patriarchy. Hollywood will be a better place without rampant misogyny (among other issues). Dissolve the board.
