Jules O'Dwyer and Matisse won the final of this year's Britain's Got Talent. She failed to mention that during the act, another dog was used to walk across a tightrope as Matisse is afraid of heights. People voted for her and Matisse, not her, Matisse and another dog. Simon Cowell should allow the public to vote again or disqualify her for cheating, and the prize of £250,000 and a spot at the Royal Variety should be given to the runner up, magician Jamie Raven

The scale of this response is forcing a formal review of the performance regulations. I am currently drafting a letter to the production team demanding a public explanation regarding the use of a stunt double. My next move involves coordinating with media outlets to ensure the facts about the tightrope act reach the producers directly.

clever dogs + clever owner playiing the sympathy card with a 3 legged dog. She duped the public, she cheated. It's like having a singer mime to someone elses singing. Jamie Raven should be on the Royal Variety Show.

Although the act was tremendous and best on the night, the fact remains that we were deceived into thinking that Matisse walked the tightrope and the other dog that did tightrope did not appear at the end of the act making us believe that it was Matisse that had. Therefore, the public were deceived and in my opinion she cheated. As such, they should be disqualified.

If an acrobatic act had used a stuntman to perform the dangerous parts no one would vote for it and had the public known about the stunt dog who knows but we should have been able to make an informed decision. Should be disqualified, she knew it would make a difference to the public vote or why else hide the fact.
