These are Museum pieces to be seen, dont pass up on the opportunity. The generation that maintained and flew them are leaving us. In our case it was Radar Mechanic V. Leggett, 493 BG, left us last November. I intend for his daughter, grandchildren and great grandchildren to see and hear this B-17 gathering.

Please bring this icon outside with the other B-17s! I know that there's been so much effort into putting this 3 day event, but one of the best parts shouldn't be hidden away. Give it one final show for the faithful visitors of the NMUSAF. We don't know if 3 B-17's all next to each other will ever happen again

If she's available we'd love to see her especially since we're bringing my 90 year old Grandpa who won't be able to make it all the way to DC
