I am honestly a bit overwhelmed by how many people feel the same way about this issue. Seeing this reaction makes me realize how much you all care about making things better for creators. This momentum belongs entirely to the community.

The Dislike button is not needed and useless to the community, as it does not give any constructive criticism, I honestly dont understand why youtube added it in the first place.
Well, the dislike button is fine, haters gonna hate, but dislike button has to go, if you hate someone so much you have to dislike bot them its just sad tbh
they just want to piss us off for no reason! im getting dislikes! and im afraid it will grow even more
It just adds more hate.
I seriously think that the dislike button should be removed its not that i hate it its just that its so annoying that people hit dislike buttons for nothing because its so simple that if you don't like the video don't click any button and if you like the video click the like button!

I think you should remove the dislike button because of dislike bots and if people see that they are getting disliked botted then they might take it to heart and quit YouTube even if they love doing it
