These people are working and contributing to a community. this is petty and disgusting, do you really what to exile Scotland? This is no longer a UK.

These are good people hugely adding to their local area in Scotland. I appreciate that "rules are rules" but rules can be bent and with so many truly appalling rule infringements going on I cannot see why the Border Force is wasting time on this particular family. Their leaving will be to Scotland's detriment and just serve to further lose the public's faith in our immigration laws.

This is horrendous. My wife is Canadian and we had trouble years ago and have paid thousands of pounds to get her visa sorted - and she worked all the time in a managerial position in a well known company. I'm relieved it has been sorted before now as I worry what would have happened otherwise.
This family deserved their right to stay. The torys and all political parties are fools and idiots - out of touch with the country.
I hope something sorts itself out for you- you deserve it.

So a family that be;longs to the British Commonwealth, a family that is white & speaks English is not welcome. I believe the children even speak Gaelic! & yet we allow people in who have no honour, no loyalty to Britain & no language or specific skills to bring to us? Wow! I now sound like a racist!

Once again we see the sad transilliteration of words tranformed into disgusting reality effecting real lives. I don't just protest, I call for a snap general election which should be our democratic right, as we've already shown a vote of no confidence in the Tory party.

We need to treasure anyone who adds value to our country and communities in any way. In this case it is both economical and social. We need to stop view in individuals with Borders and instead reward those who make his world a better place to live in. We are all human.

Surely this is a crime, The Human rights bill should be poured over by a lawyer to protect this family. They are contributing to their community in so many ways, keeping it alive etc. Think of the children especially.
