This is deeply disturbing. Vital documents have gone missing (allegedly), a family who contrbutes to their local,community are being penalised, and the community itself will suffer. What is the point? This looks like deportation by numbers - just ticking boxes, by some official, with no sense applied to the situation.

These people have a job, a business, have integrated into the community, are self sufficient, have Scottish heritage, and are giving to the country - and you want to deport them?
Frankly, I seriously think if this is the type of individuals that you are targeting, then something is - seriously - wrong with the efficacy of your policy in action.
People are against immigration aimed at taking from the country either financially or culturally, not sharing, and fully integrating.

Some of the children are British by birth, they are running a successful business contributing to the local economy, a hard working family who have done nothing wrong. Building their business takes time and in time they will probably employ more people. They provide a local service as well as catering for tourists, bringing in much needed local income.

These people are law abiding folk who offer a service to thier community. Further as some of thier children are born in Scotland these Children are Scotish Citezens. As such the potential of deviding them from thier parents is abusive!

This is the sort of family this country needs. Investing their time, their money and dedicating their family life to the community. What we don't need are narrow-minded, petty, xenophobic civil servants chasing immigration targets. This is a disgraceful way to treat a family who have made themselves part of a community that needs and wants them.

It's not xenophobia but it is a perfect example of how rules regarding immigration devised in Westminster are not appropriate in large parts of Scotland. A good case for making at least part of the immigration legislation a devolved matter.
