This family provide a valuable service for the highland region. Their deportation is not only heartless, it is economically stupid.

Deporting a family that offer so much to a community and contribute to the country by paying taxes while others don't? Where is the fairness in that

Scotland requires young families like the Zielsdorfs to make Scotland their home.
We are honoured & privileged that they do.
The UK Home Office have an obligation for fairness & flexibility to be keystones of immigration policy.
If they can't or refuse to do so let Scotland control immigration policy.
You know, like normal countries.

This is awful - this family have invested their own money and provide a fantastic, much needed service to the local community. Immigration issues should be in the hands of the Scottish Parliament and not the Westminster government.

Scotland needs to encourage families like this instead of deporting them.
We need to control our own immigration

The UK's immigration policy doesn't just, not work for Scotland (a country with only a 1/10 of England's population) it's to damaging, ruthless, irrational and cruel. And it's going to get a whole lot worse after #Brexit.

Outrageous situation. An example of exactly why Scotland needs to have different immigration laws.

Please allow this family the right to remain. They have built a business in an area desperately needing it. They have settled and contributed to economy & culture.

Time for the people who chose to live and work in Scotland to make our own decisions. Not have them made for us by fascist imperial masters in another country. A family making an essential contribution to Scotland being forced to leave? The politics of retribution.

Appalled by this case. We need more people like the Zielsdorfs.
