Oshay is officially off parole. Sacramento Parole finally stopped their pathetic harassment and acknowledged he never should have been under their thumb this long. This victory belongs to every one of you who refused to let them bury him in bureaucratic lies.

Oshay Johnson served 26 plus years for attempt murder. He was considered not primary shooter. He was 20 years old 2 years out of high school. Oshay Johnson served approximately 5 years beyond his statutory maximum and with parole he is serving over 30 years for a non murder case. Oshay has put lots work earning a degree and multiple certifications. Oshay should not be on parole, what sac parole has done is apply a policy that does not apply to oshay. Then turns around and holds him accountable for not be in compliance to policy that should not be attached to him period. Based on this discharge is denied. Oshay pursuit to the governors bill should have gotten off parole January 2021. However, Sacramento parole in the miss application of their own regulations did not honor that parole discharge. All the community work and self correction goes for nothing. Oshay put in over 400 hours of group therapy and reenter programs in his first 6 months. He is small businesses owner and has worked with youth being a mentor. Using his experience and story to convince youth to make better decisions. However, parole has created a great handicap. It was determined by the parole board based on clear and convincing evidence that oshay does not pose an unreasonable threat to society. So, what is purpose for long term parole. Oshay has filed complaints but they ignored, and now he is a target of harassment and threats of being put back in prison. Not because breaking any law but because he is complaining about the injustice. Oshay asking for support in asking the Governor and Chief parole to discharge him from parole.

Sacramento parole is playing games with Oshay's life by enforcing rules that do not even apply to him just to keep him under their boot. They are ignoring his success and his service to the community because they would rather threaten him with prison than admit they made a mistake. We are watching their every move and I will not let them bury Oshay under their bureaucratic harassment.

I worked with Oshay with mentoring kids, I have also used his small business for beautification of my home. But most importantly I see the change he has made and I see the positive impact he has made in the community with the youth, and his peers.

Oshay is an outstanding community leader. He is a youth mentor and has implemented several youth programs within his community. He is also highly respected by various established associations. Oshay Johnson is a dad, brother, uncle, grandfather, peace keeper, mentor and friend. He deserves complete freedom with no stipulations. #Second-Chances #Determined

O’Shay has paid his debt to society. He served 30 years for the crime he was accused of. He is now serving in his community as a mentor to young people. His message is to keep others from following in his footsteps.

O'Shay Johnson has shown been a positive contributor to the Sacramento community since he has come home. I see a positive change in his person and in his action with all the work he does with out youth in the Del Paso community. Please grant him an early dismissal.

Brother Oshay’s actions in the community and with His family speaks volumes as to whether Our tax paying dollars should be wasted on continuing to keep Mr. Oshay on parole. STOP WASTING MY HARD EARNED MONEY ON OSHAY, AND LET HIM OFF OF PAROLE….

Oshay has been a prominent member of his community and given more to his community than others. He Has shown what it means RE enter society and go above and beyond! CDC says they are restructuring men and women to RE enter back into society and there communities. Oshay is a prime example of just that and more.

I am a property and business owner in the community. I have had the pleasure of working with Oshay in my business and in the community for 2 years. He is the teacher to the youth in the the community. Guiding them in the right direction about street life, ways to be leaders and not followers. Using sports, economics and self-actualization. Oshay Johnson should be released from parole. He has been there and done that. He is just what the youth in the community needs.
