I know myself and many, many others would thoroughly enjoy a course in the Livingston area and play there often...bringing our money that local businesses would appreciate!

Disc golf is a fast growing sport that is beneficial for all ages. It gets families outdoors, you'll walk at least one to two miles on an average course and it's addictive!

Local resident in Livingston who currently travels long distances to play disc golf. It would be great to have one nearby especially since the cost is much lower than most parks projects and can serve a larger number of people.

I personally have worked as couste designer and liaison with several small and large townships in Houston and the surrounding area. I have seen first hand the impacts a quality disc course can have. Aside from the obvious use of the land by more local citizens, I've seen the addition of a disc golf course drive out undesirables at existing parks by bringing more community traffic. I've seen communities come together to help each other I time of need and use the disc golf courses as avenues for fundraisers. I have seen disc golf courses put heads in hotel beds and butts in restaurant seats. I personally drove they and stayed in Livingston while playing a disc golf event in Woodville and would love and excuse to make it back to a certain Mexican restaurant that I found there. I smile deeply just at the consideration.

I'm 62, PDGA #751, & been playing for a LONG time. A dg course in your area would be great for the community & would draw customers (which your businesses would appreciate).

This is much needed in an effort to expand into areas that don't have disc golf near by. The interest is there, the course is not. 100% for having a new course in the area. Put a course in the ground and watch everything near by prosper from it.
