Over the last year Disc golf has grown tremendously which has been a blessing. One that the community has been working toward for much longer than the 10 plus years I have been playing. We've all heard the phrase "Grow the Sport" but with this incredible growth we are presented with some issues. Events are filling in seconds leaving people frustrated, and courses are overly crowded. It is no secret that we need more courses in New Jersey. With more courses there are more options for players to spread out, more events, hopefully more Tournament Director's and so forth. Parvin State Park is a beautiful location to install a course on a piece of property that already has cabins, a beach front, hiking trails and more. It would be a wonderful Disc Golf destination if approved. Thank you!

We are approaching one hundred signatures and need to clear this hurdle before we reach out to park officials. Text this link to three people who play nearby and tell them to sign now. We must keep this momentum moving forward.

Disc Golf is a great way to get more people and families using our Parks. Stafford Woods in Voorhees is a perfect example. It was a walking trail that NO ONE used, and now there are always cars in the lot, and people playing disc golf.
The member of Vineland Disc Club take meticulous care of the course at South Vineland Park. They are well organized and have only the best intentions for Parvins State Park.
There are really no truly amazing courses in south jersey because they lack true scenic value Parvins could and should have a pro level course easily having the space and terrain needed to make the best course in Jersey.
Would be a great addition to the community and could possibly bring in visitors from other areas whom can see how wonderful parvins and Cumberland County can be. I personally would be will to donate my time to help as well
It's a great recreational use of land that is low impact and very popular. A new course in the area will also bring in some extra patronage of the local businesses.
This would be awesome!

Every town has several baseball, basketball, football, and soccer fields, which are very expensive to install and maintain, and that are only used seasonally by a small portion (kids) of the population. Not every town has a disc golf course, which are inexpensive to install and maintain, and can be used year round by the entire population
