NATO was created back during the Cold War era when our number one threat was the Soviet Union as well as the other Communist Warsaw Pact countries throughout Eastern Europe. Neither one obviously exists anymore so there is not a good reason for NATO to remain intact. It is pretty much useless against domestic and international terrorism and Communist China which I believe are the number one threats to the United States in modern times. I strongly believe that the European Union should go ahead and form its own military bloc instead of having an alliance with an old and obsolete NATO.
It is time to stop this alliance and build stronger friendships with ALL countries
Their enemies are Russia, North Korea, and China, but European countries have unequal treaties (they should apologize for the Treaty of Nanking first, and it was Germany that broke the non-aggression pact with the Soviet Union, and Ukraine is full of corruption)
Disband the NAZI alliance under the name of NATO.

NATO became obsolete, it's no longer a defensive alliance (if it ever was) but rather America's Foreign Legion.
