I thought this government is intent on opening up opportunities in the digital platform, how is that possible when by the stroke of a pen you have scattered jobs for hundreds and job opportunities for even more. Let's not even talk about the educational material shared. Or simply key learning platforms. There are enough laws to capture those that spread malicious news but do not cut your nose to spite your face.

This is stupid, if the social media platforms themselves are not restricting us from putting up content then who does Ezekiel Mutua think he is to do so? You’re burning this country to the ground, and the entertainment industry will be quick to falter. Thanks alot.

This is unjust and needs to stop. They need to understand the plight and struggles of content creators and Youtubers in Kenya. In many (and most cases) unless you’ve got over 1 million subscribers, YouTube pays you peanuts from Ad revenue so how can it be expected such rediculous costs are placed on content creators. I’m all for fairness of law and paying taxes but not when it’s outright robbery

I totally disagree with this bill and i think that its completely stupid and pointless. This is just another way they are trying to mint money from us through some ridiculous laws and policies. I mean like do they just wake up and just decide to pit up these laws or what??

The tyranny and impunity of the KFCB needs to be put to an end. They can no longer be allowed to act as the Kenyan moral police.
