KFCB is a tool wielded by the Government to censure a growing voice by the youth online. Mr. Mutua is nothing but a pawn. Irregardless, let the Government find another tool

I have no idea what the KFCB has done to support the creative scene locally giving a terrible name to Government. While creatives in Kenya generally work extremely hard to get global recognition for their work (with minimal resources and government support) , KFCB is more less as an inhibitor to growth as opposed to an enabler. Either they change tact or leave!

They are killing the already suffering creative industry in Kenya. Freedom of expression should be legal for any human. BAN THEM !!

This is madness. The Internet is a free network and service and the KFCB trying to get people trying to register on the internet is a clear indication something is wrong with the Board.

Getting a license by having to pay alot of money is not okay.Many youtubers especially, are young people and also students that stay out of the streets by doing something better. Some are antisocial and this is the the only platform they have to be heard and share good things. Depriving anyone of anything they deserve because you want money for a license that we both know is not necessary since people know the law and no one would dare post anything bad.While Youtubers of other countries continue progressing,Kenya will never go forward with such laws.So please reconsider.

As a Film Producer in Kenya, the cost of production for licensing is more and more everyday. I have had international film makers opt to film in other countries in lieu of the exorbitant costs.
