Definately signed.... If you or your dog is not up to the task op throwing the dumbell or retrieving it than IPO is not your taste of sports. Also... when you throw the dumbell the dog might move...that's one of the things obedience is about.

Dont damage the sports and the working dogs! Making an easy program will only damage the good temperament of our working dogs!

In any dog sport it's never a good idea to lower the standards needed to be achieved by the participant or decrease its spectator appeal which I believe this change to the retrieve will do both. If something is working fine, don't mess with it just for the sake of change.
