Stop dumbing down schutzhund. The original intent was a breed suitability test. The Green Party in Europe = PETA in the US. The aim of both -openly stated -is to eliminate our right to own dogs. Europe once again is trying the appeasement route & as history shows (WW2) it does NOT work. Europeans have lost significant rights to own & train dogs and stand to lose it all if they do not start drawing lines in the sand. We in the USA need to stand firm NOW w/ ALL other animal owners!

I agree. The rule, which is trying to implement makes our sport more boring.

Since when practicing with dogs fetch it is one of the basic obedience exercises. Therein dynamics, speed, ferocity and especially nature. Edit this exercise, lose cell obedience to the attractiveness and the measure is inconsistent with our philosophy.

I disagree with the proposed changes. This would be detrimental to the handler-dog relationship.

This is not logical! The dog has to bring fetch who threw handler. The change would cause the dog must find dumbell with a strange smell (eyes only) and bring to the handler. Assistant will only distracting stimulus! This is not obedience, it is tracking, retrieving search (odorless handler)
