Please allow self directed services remain for our family members. If for no other reason, think about it from a safety point of view.

The self-directed program is a great benefit to not only the participants but for the parents. Until their are accommodations for over 21yrs...this is the ONLY program for those who can't fit into the few programs set up for higher functioning adults. As the saying goes," if it ain't broke, doesn't need to be messed with". The self-directed program works!

My son has done much better under self-directed services as it was-allowing him to hire relative or staff he wants. Please do not move us back to institutionalization!

Funds for autism always need to be available!!! This is necessary for the client, the family and our society!
