My brother has benefited much from this wonderful program! Please take time to hear the family and friend's voices of these Individuals and how the program is actually working for our loved ones. This program is needed in our lives as is. Thank you!

Not having this money for the families that need help around the clock help. This must not happen! The families want to have their child at home, but need some extra help, sometimes to just sleep thru the night without being woken up by a 2am feeding. Just 1 example.

Every day is a struggle for my son. Due to his severe anxiety, he is not able to participate in any of the options available through the traditional services DDA has to offer. Please do not take away the one thing that is working for him... having family as staff has provided him the safe care and consistent methods he needs to slowly move forward in doing things for others outside of our home, not to mention it is the most cost effective. Taking this option away from families is taking away his right to choose.

We are living with Autism for over 20 years. It has been an incredible struggle to find any services for our son. It is truly devastating that service so important to our family is going to be taken away from us.

The self directed participants are already out in the community living our lives. Please let us continue to do so. Restore self directed services to what they were at one time, "self directed"

We self-direct services for our son through a Community Pathways waiver within the past year. It has dramatically improved the quality of life for our son. We need to fuel this fire, not douse it.
Please help not hinder my special needs daughter.
