It is exhausting trying to navigate all the red tape alone while you are just trying to process the news. Totally agree with this.
YES. The system is so broken right now. People are left to fend for themselves when they are at their lowest point.
too much stress for parents already going through so much. give them the support they deserve.
My brother got diagnosed last year and we still have no idea which programs he qualifies for. This needs to change.
about time! having a plan in place would have saved us months of panic and confusion.

When we finally got our daughter's diagnosis we were just handed a pamphlet and shown the door. It was so isolating. Families need actual guidance right from the start.
