To the Board Directors of Galveton Hurricanes Little League Organization; The following parents/supporters request the recall of Kevin Matthews based on the following reasons. The petition is to let it be known publicly that Kevin Matthews should removed/impeached from the board of directors as president of the Galveston Hurricanes which is not only deemed necessary by the members, also by the parents and supporters of this organization. Kevin Matthews does not have this organization's best interest at heart based upon the observation that he is unwilling to stand up to controversy when wrongful accusations have been made upon this league. Memberships as well as finance will down because of his unwillingness to embrace change for the betterment within this organization. When faced with conflict, Kevin Matthews did take the time out to review the incident in question that took place 11/05/2011 with the members before he signed and agreed to the incident which placed the leagues creditability on the line. His abrupt actions may have cost this league a chance of going to this years 2011 Super Bowl Championship. He has placed a stigma on this organization that we are unlawful, cheaters and dishonest without truly investigation what was being protested in his absents. We believe Kevin Matthews' role as president is suppressing this orgainzation's potential and stifling resources that we as an organization need to grow and expend as well as represent what we believe as to why this orgainzation was formed for from its inception. A recall election is therefore requested by the following partents/supporters for Kevin Matthews removal as president.
