I realize change is hard, but this seems like a positive step towards offering more of our county's children a quality educational experience, it allows for the opportunity to take the best of both schools and spread that to more people.

A 19 month old and another on the way, it will be great to have a legitimate public school option in the neighborhood.
Key that must be communicated to the Dilworth parents is that they aren't sending their kids to "Sedgefield" as they know it, it will be a completely different school.

Great opportunity for the children and families of both communities to come together. I attended Sedgefield Middle School when it was called "Sedgefield Jr. High". It was a great school and can be again.
