Final supporters
Many students are currently struggling with their current AP Calc teacher. He's great at other math subjects, but in this class students are not comfortable taking it because of how it has been taught to students this year. Students are having to hire tutors weekly, re-teach themselves out of the textbook, and meet every weekend in order to try and learn the content. We are petitioning to change-out the teacher for AP Calculus with someone else, such as Miller or Browning. If you do so, many more people will sign up for the class, and hopefully the class will be less stressful. The other option would be to significantly change the dynamic of the class and the way it is taught.

The feedback I have received from fellow students confirms that the current challenges in the classroom are widespread and significant. I am currently working to arrange a formal meeting with the administration to present these concerns clearly. Your willingness to participate in this process provides the foundation for the changes we hope to see.

The response to this petition confirms that the current challenges within the AP Calculus classroom are shared by a significant number of students. This momentum reflects a genuine collective desire for a more effective learning environment at our school. We are now in a stronger position to request a formal review of the teaching methods currently in place.
