Dicky Barrett was fired from Indie 103.1 despite his popularity and success due to some conflicts with Clear Channel. After being fired, Indie lied in their statement and unfairly said that Dicky was not committed and walked away from the show when he was actually unjustly fired. Dicky and Indie made statements that can be read at the LA Voice link to the right. There is no reason quality programming should be stripped from the radio because a disc jockey was not afraid to share his views. Dicky Barrett holds a place in our hearts, and we feel he holds a place on the air at Indie 103.1. Bring Dicky back to Indie!
