Dicky Barrett was fired from Indie 103.1 despite his popularity and success due to some conflicts with Clear Channel. After being fired, Indie lied in their statement and unfairly said that Dicky was not committed and walked away from the show when he was actually unjustly fired. There is no reason quality programming should be stripped from the radio because a disc jockey was not afraid to share his views.
