The undersigned residents of Dickinson Township of Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, call on Dr. Allyn Perkins to resign his office as a Dickinson Township Supervisor. Allyn Perkins has promoted governance notable for its unmitigated arrogance and boorish treatment of township residents, misguided policies, disdain for citizen participation, lack of communication and lack of transparency. As a result, Dickinson’s citizens have lost faith and confidence in Allyn Perkins’ ability to serve effectively in a position of municipal governance. His actions and behavior have irretrievably broken the bonds of trust between township citizens and the Board of Supervisors.
