I believe the VMI senior leadership team, the Board of Visitors and selected members of the current corps leadership should be afforded the opportunity to see Mr. Chatham’s portrayal of JTL Preston as only in doing so will they fully appreciate the incredible value it would offer cadets and others associated with the Institute.

I have known Dick Cheatham for 40 years or so and I know his deep love and commitment to his native state, Virginia, V.M.I. and his country.
It’s time America woke up and listened to Dick and other historians before America’s history is airbrushed, whitewashed and changed forever. Wake up Americans and save your history before it is lost.
