Dick Allen is the greatest power Hitter I ever saw swing a bat. and believe me I saw Mays, Mantle and Stargell. It's about time the HOF recognizes this accomplishment. He does have HOF numbers, but it always comes back to his reputation. since when did reputation Ever Swing A Bat. plus after reading several recent stories I am starting to learn that the bad reputation stories are false.

The Greatest Long Ball Hitter was Babe Ruth, Number 2 was Dick Allen. To me, that man is a Hall of Famer !

it's my belief that there are at least 5 seasons in which Allen had a reasonable claim to being the best hitter, if not the best player in his league. 64, 66, 67, 72 and 74. His career OPS+ is way past a hall of fame level. He's a hall of famer all the way.

If Ron Santo is in, then Dick Allen should be in. Dick Allen was 5 times the layer Santo was.

Dick Allen was one of the greatest sluggers of all time. To this day, no one has hit a ball harder or further than Dick Allen. Add that ingredient and his 19th ranked in All Time Slugging Percentage then that closes the issue whether he is a Hall of Famer. HE MOST DEFINITELY IS !
