Dear Innoventures Education,

In this current climate of salary cuts, job losses, losses to SME units and uncertainties, it is no longer feasible for families to pay such high fees for schooling, nor to pay all at once. It is a time for businesses to lead the way in offering help and support to their loyal customers and the majority of organizations have done just that. It is fantastic to see that DESS and DESSC have led the way in the education sector, by offering significant fee reductions. Many families are suffering and it is unreasonable for any business to provide a reduced service and not to reduce its fees.

Given the uncertainty that you will be able to provide full facilities and tuition, we do not believe that charging standard fees, applicable to full service, is justified. We are beginning the year with restrictions in the delivery of your services and are unsure how long this will continue.

KHDA has written that each school is free to grant distance-learning discounts. We believe that a reduction in fees, in line with the reduction of service provided, along with compassionate grounds, is called for. We are sure that you will show empathy, understanding and flexibility towards our situation. At this time, we are prepared to pay 80% of the school fees and will be able to pay this in monthly instalments to you, from the start of the school.

With best wishes

The volume of support has reached a level that necessitates a formal meeting with the school administration. I am currently drafting a letter to Innoventures Education to schedule this discussion regarding our fee reduction proposal.

Reduce the fees for both of my children as salary cut from the company and the only earning member in the family. And make it flexible payment over the year

DIA has proposed a schedule were parents are required to administer their children’s learning for 50% of the time. This impacts on their ability to work with many having o make alternative arrangements, incurring additional costs. Fee reduction inline with this hybrid learning module Is a fair and Just request to offset these costs.

innoventures have been incredibly disappointing and greedy during this entire process. We have 4 kids at the school and get a sibling discount on the 4th child, so I'm not holding out hope.

I have lost my job and my husband is on 50% pay. A reduction in school fees would keep our children at DIA. We’ve paid full fees for a decade (during the good years) so it would be appreciate if DIA could assist when times are not so good. At a minimum - monthly payments would be appreciated.

I m ready to 100% of the fee for my son in Year 1 because he will be attending school fully but for my other child in year 3, It is unfair to pay the full fee.

Last years reduction was a nice gesture but the discount was so little it made a very small difference. Considering we had 50% salary cuts (Both parents) and additional costs due to nannies having to cover the time when kids would usually be at school. A fee reduction this year would really help compensate for this tremendous setback
