I support the tradition of two separate color robes for DGS. It's a tradition that is used at many schools, and shouldn't become the victim of political correctness.

I believe that boys and girls should have different colors let it be they are all proud graduates of dgs

Please leave the graduation gowns the way they have been! DO NOT GET RID OF THE LIGHT BLUE GOWNS!!!
If someone is transgender, let that person pick what color they want to wear, light blue or dark blue.
I think it sucks that the district wants to change this w/o asking how the kids and parents feel about this change!
And what about the Sr kids that have already taken their Sr pictures? My daughter already took her pictures in the light blue gown and now she will be forced at Graduation to wear a dark blue gown?!?!

I don't understand why the color of the robed needs to be an issue and why the decision to change it was never even discussed with the current senior class. All these kids took their picture over the summer in either light blue or dark blue. Now school starts and you tell them and the parents we are changing it. Why don't the kids get a say on some of the things the board just changes? Leave the graduation robes the way the have been, keep the tradition going. DGS we are tradition!

We hav3 had our school colors since 1968 why would anyone change it. All schools picked there own colors ours are light blue for he ladies navy blue for the gentleman. No reason to change them

Keep both colors-it's a nice touch! There's no need to homogenize everything. I wore the light blue when I graduated.
