Because of people in today's culture uncertain about their identity, it should take away tradition of people that have been around since North was a school. People can have a gown of choice. That choice is what you identify as. Girls have white gowns boys have purple, it's that simple. If you consider yourself a boy. Purple. If you consider yourself a girl. White.

the purple and white is a tradition that needs to stay at north no matter what it has been and should stay as this

The guys wear purple and the Girls wear white. It shows the schools colors more and shows how many girls and guys there are

Let the kids wear what color they want! I mean really! What is the big deal?!

I think people should just dress how they sexually identify. We shouldn't have to change such a weird thing to make them happy. They need to be able to deal with some of these small things so that straight people don't find them whinny and annoying.

If you insist on letting external politics effect change for these students than you must also respect the internal efforts of this petition to allow this process and reward its efforts.

It's not fair to let such a small supgroup of people ruin a long time tradition because they're "offended." Life isn't always fair just man up and stop complaining.

I think coming together and creating a compromise with a choice involved in the color is better than targeting certain communities and blaming them for the single color gown option. I understand the frustration, but let's lift each other up instead of break each other down.
