We demand a new administration take over the Devore Animal Shelter so all the atrocities occurring there can stop! Stop the senseless killing and torture of thousands of dogs and cats at this hell hole! No animal should be beaten to death and nothing done about it! No animal should be denied medical care! No animal should have to drink green slime in its water bowl! No animal should be killed when there are many empty kennels! There is a saying that a man's character is determined by how he treats animals! Devore has a nationwide reputation for being one of the worst! This is disgraceful and unconscionable! How is it that these awful people run so many shelters in our country?
The lack of MORAL COMPASS and ETHICAL HONOR ... well, there are just no words strong enough to express how disgraceful / reprehensible / unconscionable their actions are to these poor vulnerable helpless animals/ souls. I truly just don't get it. Why all this darkness when it comes to our animal shelters across this country. They have VILE reputations, rightfully so. The BIGGEST QUESTION is WHY?!
I have a file of quotes from THE MUST BRILLIANT PEOPLE EVER IN OUR WORLD about MAN AND THE RELATIONSHIP WITH ANIMALS. They all say that if you can't appreciate, live with, and help these VULNERABLE DEFENSELESS souls then you are basically unconscious to the value of life. And, btw ... it is our DUTY to protect the most vulnerable... and animals are THE most vulnerable class of all ... more so even than children.

There have been Sheba’s before and ther will continue to be MORE Sheba’s if the statues/laws are not corrected! There should be an unbiased investigation of all employees! Needed is a licensed vet tech on staff at all times, at best minimum. Appears county has money for “new” positions and raises but not for the animals in their facilities! Shameful!

I HAVE FOSTERED AND ADOPTED DOGS THROUGH A RESCUE THAT WERE DEEMED AGGRESSIVE AT DEVORE SHELTER THAT WERE IN NO WAY AGGRESSIVE. MORE SCARED OR ABUSED FROM THIS SHELTER. THE WAY THEY MAKE SO MANY DOGS RESCUE ONLY IS NOT ONLY CRUEL AND INHUMANE BUT SHOUKD BE ILLEGAL.
