This is a thriving little retail & restaurant area, but if premises are allowed to go out of commercial use it will die.

I don't believe this development will stop us from losing a retail business from the street that gives vitality to the area. A professional services firm, if that were to occupy the retail part shown in the plans does not fulfill that...and I call upon the Council to uphold their promises to maintain the integrity of the local area.
