Develop Historic Broadway NOT wastefully widen the roadway

We need a circular economy instead of a destroy-and-throwaway economy.

Keep important architecture and small businesses alive in Tucson.

I'd rather our city focused on Grant Rd for now.

I do not see the value in this change and think city funds could be used in a much better way. Demolishing historic buildings does not make Tucson better in anyway. It's what sets us a part from Phoenix - our town is full of unique history and architecture.

There are many needs in Tucson, such as re-paving our existing streets, and meeting these needs will improve our city. Widening Broadway will do the opposite: decrease our quality of life and divert funds from goals that we do need to meet.

Learn from past Tucson history and stop destroying local artist spaces and cultural history. More green spaces and community building areas. Thank you !

I'm so sick of all the mattress stores! There's no need for 5 at one intersection, plus a Con's which also sells beds (Broadway & Craycroft).

This action would not support the sustainable Tucson we need to envision and move toward. The monies spent on such a short-sighted project with obsolete goals could help bring far more worthy efforts to bear on Tucson's drive to genuine resilience.

In a time of budget constraints this plan needs to be reconsidered as it will not improve traffic flow and we still need to just pave the $%^# roads in Tucson.

8 seconds is not worth $75 million, destruction of historic architecture, and the disruption to commercial and residential zones. Let's develop broadway not flatten it.

Broadway would be much better served by extending the modern streetcar service to Wilmot Road, beautifying the existing businesses alon it, and developing the area around it, not just widening it.

No need to widen Broadway. Berter to use the money to pave Stone Avenue at Speedway to Drachman. ASAP

Hold city staff accountable. Use funds wisely. 6 seconds is not worth the cost to create an empty, generic, car centric road. If citizen input will be ignored, then we have a deeply serious problem -- a false, costly, disingenuous, wasteful public process. Fire those who are responsible for this outcome; cancel this flawed project.

There is no reason to make Broadway into a superhighway. Re-think what the goals of transportation are and make the smart choice!
