Make College Heights safer with lower speed limits and resident-only restrictions

Curve st at the end of the afternoon is craziness! The people that use Curve ST as a short cut are mad at the traffic in Weston rd to go toward the center. As a matter of fact they go really fast and it is incredibly dangerous. Also an action should be taken for the pedestrian at the intersection of Weston rd and Linden St. When the traffic light is red and flashing, lot of people are not stopping.

We have had many, many close calls on our end of Curve Street as the street literally curves and there is low visibility as you are coming up the street from Linden. This has just gotten worse with the installation of a new stockade fence at the new townhome complex on the corner of Linden and Curve. The Two-Way Stop Sign at Curve and Howe/Crest is another danger spot as people often do not stop on the Stop Sign sides. As a neighborhood that has not been given adequate or any sidewalks, yet is considered a 'walk-to-school' neighborhood, we are constantly faced with having children is precarious walking conditions. Something must be done to create a safer environment.

I had a woman actually PASS me on Sunset Road as I was trying to take a left into my driveway. INSANITY!

Action is needed - we are a walking neighborhood and it has become very dangerous at all times of day and evening especially on streets without sidewalks.
Had a close call at night with a speeding car last year.
This will worse as new housing developments on Linden St and other nearby streets increase.

I have come very close to being hit by speeding cars while turning in to my driveway several times. Speeding cars have been an issue since I have lived on the street and it seems to just get worse all the time. Would welcome the changes.

It certainly HAS gotten worse. It is incredibly dangerous, especially for our younger children playing outside. The combination of curves, hills, lack of sidewalks, and an assumed 30mph speed limit is untenable.

The neighborhood traffic has gotten out of control. Our dog was recently killed right in front of our family one afternoon by a non-resident driver speeding through the neighborhood. Action needed.
