For a long time, Destiny's matchmaking in the Crucible has had a very serious problem. Bungie has implemented a skill-based matchmaking system in the Crucible. While this may sound great at first, the downsides are simply unarguable. The only way to get better is if you have a fair chance in your control. If there are connection issues, players have an unfair disadvantage outside of their control. Meanwhile, if there is a player that is extremely experienced with good connection, this is a perfect opportunity to improve. This can make a skill-based matchmaking system itself: improving. No pain, no gain. Also, people with worse connections have a greater advantage to improve their stats, which determines their "skill", and vice versa for the ones suffering. This is exactly why my PvP stats are terrible: the matchmaking, and the same can be said about many others. Many players, including me, have been suffering due to this. It's exactly why some can't improve or find a group on Destiny LFG.
