Please re-consider the criteria that would allow Dryden Cheer to be a competitive team. As a club they competed in IAC's each year - and hosted many of those years. It would take a lot of the meaning of the season away from the girls if they couldn't complete now that they're a school funded sport. Logically, that doesn't make sense. It would be like telling the basketball team that they could practice all season, but couldn't play in any games. While the cheerleaders are present for basketball games to cheer on the team, the culmination of their season is to compete against other schools in the IAC's. It's a fabulous experience with some extremely talented athletes. Dryden shouldn't be excluded from that. Let's take a look at the regulations and see how we can make this a win-win for all.

I think they should be allowed.to be competitive just like football, lacrosse and many other sports. That is what a sport is competing against other teams .

being a dryden cheerleader myself, I really enjoyed doing stunts, cheering and dancing. I did cheerleading for 12 years straight and I would be devastated if it was taken from me
My daughters favorite part of cheer is stunts. She is confident and does a great job. Please do not take that away from her.

This is so rediculous and sound like more political garbage that the school is trying to pull.
