Desalination in Farming

SEVERE DROUGHT
DESALINATION FOR FARMERS
ARE YOU SERIOUS?!
YES, IT IS A VALID, SCIENTIFIC TECNHIQUE THAT…..
MANY POLITICIANS AND ECONOMISTS ARE NOT AWARE OF. ACTUALLY MOST PEOPLE DO NOT KNOW ABOUT THIS NEW BREAKTHROUGH IDEA THAT IS BEING DEVELOPED BY THE BRIGHTEST SCIENTISTS.
Here I’ll describe it.
Did you know that to save water, farmers collect and reuse water? But, as they reuse water, the salt quantity goes up and they can’t use it many times because increased amount of salt is harmful to the plants. Scientists have developed machines that remove the salt through a process called reverse osmosis desalination. This is a procedure where salt water is pushed through polymer membranes, (sheets). These membranes have holes the size of water molecules. Because these holes are so small, the salt molecules can’t get through because they are larger.
Despite increased precipitation this year, California is not drought free. There is an urgent need for water, for now and for the future. If this scientific technique is applied, California's farming industry will continue to thrive and provide us with food and work.
