I support tobacco free outdoor places, such as libraries and fairs in DeRuyter, New York. Kids and adults should not have to breathe in toxic smoke when going to these places. Secondhand tobacco smoke has been shown to be dangerous, even in small amounts. Kids who see tobacco use are more likely to try it themselves. Please make DeRuyter\'s Town events tobacco free. This is the right thing to do for our community.
