Almost everyone who is a fan of Derpy Hooves knows that the show is trying to get rid of her because she "makes fun of the disabled and the mentally disadvantaged". I have a disability and I support her character just as much as any other character on the show if not more than the others. She lets me know that it is okay to be exactly who I am, not only that but that it is okay to make mistakes too. Sometimes when you "don't know what went wrong" you just need to try again, and if that isn't a positive message to put on a children's show, I don't know what is.
