Let's be fair and reasonable here. I've read the Soros Manifesto, his personal writings, tracked his investments, watched the social engineering, noted the funding of PACs & organizations, and was shocked at times with Soros's world-wide influence (including the lovely crash of the British economy in 1992). Instead of attacking him, let's instead put him into perspective momentarily. According to our cherished US constitution, he enjoys the same rights as everyday US citizens, including first amendment rights. These blessed rights have been tortuously twisted into a weapon which he uses against the very country which now grants him safe quarter; even from those in the world who would have him hunted down. Citizen? Yes. Criminal? Well now, that's harder to prove. In his writings and memoirs he openly admits to having what he characterized as a "god complex", very likely developing out of his childhood interactions with dying Jews during Nazi Germany and his bout of power by having the choice to feed one or more dying victims in passing while spending time with his father. Let's not be purely speculative here, however. We cannot fully understand what is in the mind of Soros any more than every other person on the planet. What we can do to corroborate his motives is to consider his behaviors. Is the motive for an "open society" with open borders and mass-immigration really altruistic? Not likely. It is certainly altruistic behavior to help our fellow man, and is noble in the example of refugee assistance. Soros's open border agenda is unfortunately inherently flawed, and met with strife by both host countries and refugees alike. Consider the unsettling emotion resulting from moving from one home to another. Take that, and impose a sharply contrasted culture with conflicting values and language and educational barriers and you get a powerful and toxic brand of culture shock.
