I just heard of this story a day ago from a lady who knew Shelaine Maxwell, upon the lady hearing my name was also Shelaine, she told me what had happened and about the petition. My heart goes out to her family and friends. I am 41 and would have been 26 in 1998. I have a 10yr old daughter and just can not imagine this guy on the streets again. No way should he make parole.

How they can consider parole is beyond me. This person can't be released back into the public and trusted. He WILL forever be a danger to women and children. Her family will never have her back but I beg you at least let them have what peace that justice can provide.

He not only took shelaine from us but he degraded her while doing so. I think no man should ever have the privilege of being a free man when they did what Corey Johnson did. I think he should sit the rest of his life in prison. If you let him out I fear that some members of Shalaine's family or friends will try to take justice into their own hands. I would hate to see a good person take johnson's place in jail because you decided to let him free. Thank you for you time.

Please keep this rapist/murderer in prison and behind bars. Who would be next? It could be someone you know. How would you feel if this monster raped & killed your daughter, mother, sister, best friend or even grandmother. This person, I use this perm lightly, has no rights. He lost all his rights when he made the decision to rape & murder and innocent beautiful young girl. Please think about your family as you make one of the most important decisions of your life.
